[ITEM] Eternal Moon Article.

During Queen Nehelenia’s arc in the early part of Sailor Stars, Super Sailor Moon’s Crisis Moon Compact was upgraded into the Eternal Moon Article (エターナル・ムーン・アーティクル). This happened when the nine Inner and Outer senshi lent their powers to Sailor Moon in episode 168. Chibimoon did not participate in the power transfer. Until episode 170, this was a temporary transformation, and Moon needed the other senshi to advance to her eternal form.

The new heart shaped brooch was predominantly golden with a crescent moon affixed to the lowest point of the lid. On each side of the bottom layer of the Eternal Moon Article was a wing ornament adorned by three golden orbs. The edge of the lid was decorated with ten gems. Each one represented the four Inner and four Outer Senshi. The pink gem represented Sailor Moon. The tip of the compact top featured a golden sphere that was similar to the Holy Grail. The internal face of the article had prismatic colored designs, and a pink and beveled star jewel in the center.

Animators generally drew the Eternal Moon Article as a plain yellow heart brooch with a crescent moon on the base.
